ELMS TDS For Fifth Place At Petit Le Mans
Of the teams that are out of the ELMS to common finale came with the ALMS after Braselton, could Thiriet by TDS Racing convince fifth.

The Morgan of Oak came with Jacques Nicolet, Bertrand Baguette and Olivier Pla as the sixth to eighth place finish LMP2, the Zytek of Greaves and the Oreca prototype of Murphy did not see the goal. Status GP took the trip across the pond but not start.
The two cars from the GTE-Am were counted at positions 24 and 39. During the IMSA Performance Porsche Anthony Pons, Nicolas Armindo and Raymond Narac with the class victory won the amateur class of ELMS, the AF Corse Ferrari of Matt Griffin hit with driving into the barriers.

VW Taigun Mini SUV Image Gallery
At the 2012 São Paulo International Motor Show in Brazil, Volkswagen is presenting the concept of a newly developed SUV in compact format in a world premiere: the Taigun.
The VW Taigun is a crossover version of the City runabout up.
The Taigun could go into production as early as 2014.
That the name is an anagram of Tiguan is no coincidence. Even visually, the small crossover draws heavily upon his big brother.
With 3.86 meters of Taigun measures nearly two feet less than its big brother ...

New Ford Fiesta is equipped with Active City Stop
Ford introduced the Active City Stop installed on New Ford Fiesta. This technology can avoid the Ford Fiesta crashed into the vehicle in front, where the Fiesta can brake autonomously.
Active City Stop Fiesta function when running at low speeds. ACS uses light detection and proximity sensor for observing the road ahead 50 times every second.
"In the big cities the car is running low speed and many drivers fail to brake so it hit the vehicle in front of him," said Florian Schweter, Active City Stop new Fiesta development engineer, Ford of Europe.
Currently, ACS has been installed in some cars such as the Ford C-MAX, Focus. In 2011, ACS received an award from the EURO NCAP.

Take parking, for example. Cars are getting wider, but parking spaces generally arent. So how do you squeeze into a tight spot and then step out of your car without slamming your door into the car next to you? Well, what if you didnt have to be in the car? This new video from Ford tells all...
This technology is cool, especially for aging drivers who cant crane their necks as well as they used to. Still, some gotchas come to mind. For instance, other drivers might get peeved if you momentarily leave your car on the road so you can park it remotely. Also, what if you squeeze your car into a tight parking spot just inches away from drivers door of the adjacent car — but that car doesnt support remote-controlled parking? How will the driver get back into his or her vehicle?
That said, these problems can be avoided with a little common sense on the part of the user. And Ill bet you dimes to donuts that this new technology from Ford can negotiate parking spaces more adroitly than most motorists. Which means that, eventually, well all have vehicles with fewer bumps, scuffs, and scratches. I could live with that.

2014 F800 GS Adventure
BMW has unveiled a premium variant of its hugely popular F800 GS and have added the Adventure moniker to it. The new motorcycle follows the same theme as its bigger R1200GS Adventure brother, what with ABS, touring and off-road upgrades on offer. While the engine remains the same 798cc parallel twin making 85Ps of power, the fuel tank capacity has been increased by approximately eight litres, taking the count now to 23 litres. While at it, the windscreen has also become larger.
The BMW F800 GS Adventure also comes with BMW’s Electronic Suspension Adjustment (ESA) and Automatic Stability Control (ASC). BMW have also added a pannier rack, engine crash bars to the motorcycle. To make it easier for the rider to stand up in the saddle, wider foot pegs as also a reinforced brake pedal have been added. The company also claims to have made the saddle more comfortable. There are a host of optional accessories, some as farfetched as an onboard computer and then normal ones like heated grips, centre stand and fog lamps. All this ofcourse comes at a price. At launch, two colour will be on offer, Sandrover matt and Racing red.

Fourth generation 2012 Honda CR V
This is the 2012 Honda CR-V Concept that made its public debut at the Orange County International Auto Show in Anaheim, California. It officially shows us the styling direction for the all-new, fourth-generation CR-V, which has been spied testing before. It’s set to go on sale in the US by the end of the year and the production car will debut at the LA Auto Show in November.
Compared to the current CR-V, the concept takes on a bolder look with deeper sculpting of the body lines and a stronger front fascia, which ditches the “double grille” look. The front bumper’s smooth-flowing lines are highlighted by a horizontal three-bar grille that encroaches into the multi-reflector headlight cluster. The lower bumper wraps upward to convey SUV capability with a generous approach angle; the design also improves aerodynamics.
The CR-V’s signature vertical rear taillights remain, but it’s now wrapped into the body, and the result hints at the Volvo XC60. The side glass area also sees a change in shape – the upper line falls all the way down in the current car, but both meet in the middle on the concept. The section aft of the rear doors appear bigger here, too.
We don’t expect the production model to look significantly different from this, perhaps with less showy wheels and a more subtle sump guard. Do you like where Honda is heading with the CR-V?
Toyota launched facelifted Etios and Etios Liva
Toyota launched the common man cars Etios in December 2010 and the Etios Liva in June 2011.Toyota expected both the Etios twins to be a big Success.But they never caught the market.Lack of Exterior design and poor quality interiors are the reason for the lack of numbers. Now, Toyota comes with the facelifted version of Etios and Etios Liva at Rs. 5.45 lakh and Rs 4.46 lakh(ex-showroom Delhi) respectively. The company also announced that they will launch the Etios Liva TRD Sportivo as a regular variant in its line up and has priced it at Rs 6.15 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The limited edition has been designed by Toyota Racing Development team.
The new Etios and Etios Liva has been designed to give it a bold and trendy appearance. The facelifted sedan and hatchback also got some cosmetic changes both in the interior and the exterior.The interior now has USB connectivity, AUX-in as well as remote control function and and a 2-din music system with Bluetooth. Both the Etios and the Liva are being offered in a new shade named ‘Classic Grey’. The driver’s seat gets height adjustment while the centrally mounted instrument panel has been fitted with a blue backlight. The exterior of both cars also got some changes with refreshed grille that has been given a chrome finish. The OVRMs now get integrated indicators and the rear lights has also been redesigned.
The engine line up is the same as earlier. The Liva TRD Sportivo will be powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine which produces 90bhp. Regular line up 1.2-litre petrol engine produces 80bhp and 104Nm of torque and the 1.4-litre diesel engine produces 68bhp and 170Nm of torque. Both mills have been mated to a five-speed manual gearbox.
“As a part of our product lifecycle and with the aim to bring newness to the lineup we are launching the new Etios and Etios Liva. We have incorporated customer feedback and are looking forward to delight more customers with new vehicles. Ducati 1199 Panigale Appear Without Body
Ducati Superbike 1199 Panigale can be one of the most sophisticated Italian motorcycle production at this time. Because these bikes have adopted a variety of advanced features that have been buried on the inside of the body.
The advanced features in the form of electronic aids including ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System), traction control, drive mode selection can be adjusted as well as electronic engine braking. Advanced technologies embedded on the 1199 Panigale is an application system used in the MotoGP arena in mass production Ducati superbike.
