CHINA Qoros to launch 2nd new model at 2014 Geneva Show

The second production model from new international car brand, Qoros, will be revealed at the 84th Geneva Motor Show in March 2014.
The first view of the new model in the Qoros line-up reveals that it will retain the elegant design introduced on the brand’s debut model, the Qoros 3 Sedan, while also introducing distinctive features such as a subtly evolved treatment of the front grille and unique rear LED lamp clusters.
The debutant echoes the high specification and European quality standards of the Qoros 3 Sedan, and is designed to appeal to the young, modern, ‘always connected’ metropolitan customer, with state-of-the-art features including the innovative QorosQloud infotainment system accessed via an eight-inch touchscreen.
True to Qoros’ commitment to introduce a new model every six-to-twelve months, its second model will go on sale in China in 2014, hot on the heels of the market launch in China last month of the brand’s first production model, the Qoros 3 Sedan. The rapid sequence of model introductions is possible thanks to an innovative modular platform and flexible product development processes, led by experienced European senior engineers and supported by globally renowned engineering and systems partners.
The second member of the Qoros family is based on the same modular platform as the Qoros 3 Sedan, which made its world premiere at the 2013 Geneva and Shanghai Motor Shows to widespread acclaim. 2014 F800 GS Adventure
BMW has unveiled a premium variant of its hugely popular F800 GS and have added the Adventure moniker to it. The new motorcycle follows the same theme as its bigger R1200GS Adventure brother, what with ABS, touring and off-road upgrades on offer. While the engine remains the same 798cc parallel twin making 85Ps of power, the fuel tank capacity has been increased by approximately eight litres, taking the count now to 23 litres. While at it, the windscreen has also become larger.

The BMW F800 GS Adventure also comes with BMW’s Electronic Suspension Adjustment (ESA) and Automatic Stability Control (ASC). BMW have also added a pannier rack, engine crash bars to the motorcycle. To make it easier for the rider to stand up in the saddle, wider foot pegs as also a reinforced brake pedal have been added. The company also claims to have made the saddle more comfortable. There are a host of optional accessories, some as farfetched as an onboard computer and then normal ones like heated grips, centre stand and fog lamps. All this ofcourse comes at a price. At launch, two colour will be on offer, Sandrover matt and Racing red.

Performance
The 2014 Mazda CX-5 sport comes with the same motor as last year: a 2.0-liter four-cylinder which makes 155 hp and 150 lb-ft of twisting. And for now, the Range Rover Evoque is available with a choice of three powerplants. Petrol engine with a capacity of 2.0 liter that produces 240 bhp, 2.2-liter diesel ED4 with a power of 150 bhp and 2.2 liter diesel SD4 which delivers a power of 190 bhp.
