Vespa VX 125 Launched at RS 71 380

Vespa VX 125 launched in India at the price of RS 71,380  (Ex-showroom Delhi). Vespa made its come back to India last year with the launch of LX 125. Retro styling and brand image gave lots of initial numbers for the LX 125. But after the initial number the sales started to fall. Vespa positioned the LX 125 as a premium product. But missed out lots of crucial features.

Now Vespa launched the VX 125 with additional features such as 200mm front disc brake and MRF Zapper tires. Now Vespa offers two new colors Vibrant Rosa and Metallic green. Design remains to be the same. Vespa has also given a wider pillion grab rail and beige seats with the two new colors. Vespa VX 125 is powered by the same 125cc single cylinder which produce 10 PS of power and 10.6 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a CVT Transmission. Vespa expect the new features will help the company to improve the sales figure.

Toyota launched facelifted Etios and Etios Liva

Toyota launched the common man cars Etios in December 2010 and the Etios Liva in June 2011.Toyota expected both the Etios twins to be a big Success.But they never caught the market.Lack of Exterior design and poor quality interiors are the reason for the lack of numbers. Now, Toyota comes with the facelifted version of  Etios and Etios Liva at Rs. 5.45 lakh and Rs 4.46 lakh(ex-showroom Delhi) respectively. The company also announced that they will launch the Etios Liva TRD Sportivo as a regular variant in its line up and has priced it at Rs 6.15 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The limited edition has been designed by Toyota Racing Development team.



The new Etios and Etios Liva has been designed to give it a bold and trendy appearance. The facelifted sedan and hatchback also got some cosmetic changes both in the  interior and the exterior.The interior now has USB connectivity, AUX-in as well as remote control function and and a 2-din music system with Bluetooth. Both the Etios and the Liva are being offered in a new shade named ‘Classic Grey’.  The driver’s seat gets height adjustment while the centrally mounted instrument panel has been fitted with a blue backlight. The exterior of both cars also got some changes with refreshed grille that has been given a chrome finish.  The OVRMs now get integrated indicators and the rear lights has also been redesigned.
The engine line up is the same as earlier. The Liva TRD Sportivo will be powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine which produces 90bhp. Regular line up 1.2-litre petrol engine produces 80bhp and 104Nm of torque and the 1.4-litre diesel engine produces 68bhp and 170Nm of torque.  Both mills have been mated to a five-speed manual gearbox.

Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Stingray Launched at RS 4 09 Lakhs

Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Stingray launched in India at RS 4.09 Lakhs. Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Stingray is the latest addition to the Wagon R family to enhance the appeal among customers. Wagon R has always managed good numbers and the stingray is targeted at younger buyers who are looking for something sportier than the regular hatchback.

Maruti Suzuki Wagon R stingray get new chrome finished front grill and bumpers. The head lamp and hood design are also new. To increase the sporty appeal Maruti has given skirts. On the side, Wagon R stingray get 14 inch alloy wheels and the B-Pillar is blackened. At the rear, Maruti has given clear lens tail lamps and integrated spoiler at the rear.

Maruti Suzuki has given the same interior for the stingray from the regular wagon R. The dashboard is finished in black color and the center console in Piano black finish. To help the driver, Maruti has given distance to empty and real time mileage indicator in the instrument console. Maruti has packed the Wagon R stingray with features like Multi-functioning steering wheel, Electronically adjustable rear view mirrors, New audio system, 60:40 split rear seats and projector headlamps.

For safety Maruti Suzuki Wagon R stingray comes with airbag and ABS. Maruti Suzuki has launched the stingray in three variants namely LXI, VXI and VXI optional pack. Maruti Suzuki Wagon R stingray is available in 5 colors they are red, Grey, White, silver and blue. Maruti Suzuki Wagon R stingray is powered by the same 1.0 K series engine which produces 68 PS of power and 90 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to 5 speed manual gearbox. Maruti Suzuki Wagon R stingray returns 20.51 Kmpl.
